Dry and hot weather will stick around into early next week. A stretch of triple-digit heat will continue across southern New Mexico as well. While almost all of New Mexico will stay dry, a pop-up storm or two will be possible across some of the mountain peaks. That chance for rain will increase slightly with more isolated afternoon storms starting Wednesday. But the heat will continue with near-record heat.
