Back in Aug. 2025 Cole Swindell and his wife, Courtney welcomed their first child into the world. Ever since then, we haven’t heard too much from Swindell as he has been immersed in fatherhood.

Cole Swindell Gives Rare Update On 11 Month-Old Daughter Rainey

Swindell tells Country Countdown USA‘s Lon Helton that Rainey is almost 11 months old, and is starting to become mobile.

“She’s crawling. We started working with her, and she hasn’t stopped. She pulls herself up. She’s not quite standing on her own. It’s just amazing,” he says.

Rainey Swindell is kind of in her “Chillin’ It” phase of life, if you will.

Where Did Cole Swindell’s Daughter Rainey Get Her Name From?

The name came from Swindell’s mom. He explained that it was “My mother’s maiden name. My grandpa told me not to forget where I came from. That was the name I always thought of. To honor our moms with our daughter’s name is so cool.”

How Has Fatherhood Changed Cole Swindell?

Swindell says, “I’ve had to make some personal changes. Growing up, it took me a little longer. Losing my dad and the impact he made on me. You have to find the good in every situation. Me going through that makes me know I have to be a good example.”

While he spends a lot of time on the road touring, Swindell wants to make sure his daughter knows she is priority No. 1.

“I want her to know me as her dad. It scared me to death, the life I’m leading now,” the singer admits. “I wish it could have happened sooner, but it all works out when it’s supposed to.”
