Blake Shelton surely knows almost everyone famous by now. With his own music career, spanning decades, and his years he spent on The Voice, he likely has some major contacts in his phone.
Blake Shelton Reveals the Biggest Celebrity He’s Got in His Phone Contacts
I spoke with Shelton on Taste of Country Nights and I flat out just asked the hitmaker who is the craziest contact in his phone right now.
Shelton had to take a deep breath and kind of looked up as if he was thinking intensely on his answer.
The “Sangria” singer then said “Man, I got some good ones in there just from being on The Voice for so long. Oh my God, I’ve met so many people.”
He continues, “One that just happened was John Daly.”
If you’re not familiar, John Daly is one of golf’s biggest personalities. He’s known for crushing the ball, living life on his own terms, and never pretending to be someone he’s not. He drinks and smokes on the golf course and enjoys himself each time.
Shelton then says “I met John Daly and we traded phone numbers, I had met him before but we didn’t have each other’s phone numbers and we texted a few times.”
He then admits “That’s not a… that’s an interesting combination, isn’t it? Probably not a good combination, the two of us.”
Shelton himself is known to put back a few drinks just like Daly. He later told me that on his list of things he requires backstage is “vodka, Sprite Zero and ice,” that is it.
