Bernalillo County Fire Rescue extinguishes three bosque fires
Several fires were extinguished in the Albuquerque bosque by Bernalillo County Fire Rescue crews on Friday afternoon, May 22.Officials said crews knocked down three bosque fires, which was located near Rio Bravo and Isleta Boulevards SW. The fires were on the west side of the Rio Grande, according to BCFR.The first call came in after 3:30 p.m. Friday. BCFR said its crews were able to have three extinguished within the next hour. Downed trees were cleared in the area as well.
