Zozobra 2026: Here’s what you need to know about tickets, parking and how to get there
The annual burning of Zozobra is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with Old Man Gloom dressing as King George in an event that takes us back to 1776.
The event attracts thousands each year.
Ahead of the 102nd burning, we are giving you the information you need to know about tickets, parking and how to get there to watch Old Man Gloom go up in flames.
Zozobra Tickets
General Admission is $30 online through September 3rd, and $40 on event day, September 4th. Kids 10 and under are free with a General Admission ticket.
Through September 3rd, New Mexico residents receive a discount on General Admission tickets. Seniors and Military receive a special General Admission discount, and youth ages 11-23 are only $15 in General Admission.
Premium viewing options (Embers Edge, Z-Zone, Z Whole Enchilada, and West of the Wild One) are the only seated areas at the event. Visit the ticket guide for current pricing and availability.

Parking and how to get there
There is very limited parking at and near Fort Marcy Park with entry only on foot.
There is free parking and transportation to Fort Marcy Park available.
Zozobra officials are asking attendees to park at the South Capitol Rail Runner Station between Alta Vista Street and Cordova Road. Buses will run continuously starting at 5 pm. The last bus will leave from the rail runner station at 8:30 pm.
