Tickets for the 2026 Wrangler WPRA National Breakaway Finals are now on sale at ticketmaster.com. The Wrangler WPRA National Breakaway Finals, formerly known as the National Finals Breakaway Roping, is slated for December 18-19, 2026, at the newly remodeled Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas.
“We are looking forward to this new chapter of women’s breakaway roping in professional rodeo and are excited to work with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo to continue to elevate this championship event,” said Heidi Schmidt, WPRA President. “With the overwhelming response we saw last year, we feel moving to a larger venue in Fort Worth will allow this event to continue to grow and evolve for the foreseeable future for our contestants and fans alike.”
The WPRA National Breakaway Finals is the only event in the world where professional breakaway ropers can earn the title of World Champion Breakaway Roper, the ultimate honor in professional rodeo. The top 15 at the end of the regular season on September 30th will punch their ticket to this prestigious event.
Women’s breakaway roping hit a new benchmark in 2020 when the WPRA and PRCA hosted a premier 10-round, top 15 championship, mimicking the structure of NFR barrel racing—a massive evolution since the first world title in 1974.
Tickets range in price from $44 to $87 plus tax. Come support the WPRA Breakaway Ropers in Fort Worth as they compete for a gold buckle.
