Slow Sales for Kid Rock’s $5K ‘First Class Seats’
On Friday (Feb. 13) Kid Rock‘s Freedom 250 tour tickets went on sale across America.
One of the things that caught national attention were some of the sky-high ticket prices for premium seats.
How Much Do Tickets Cost to Kid Rock’s Freedom 250 Tour?
The $5,000 “First Class Seats” are those closest to the stage. From there, the price goes down by $1,000 for each of the next four rows. There are only around 10 or so of the $5,000 tickets at each venue.
After the five front rows, the price drops significantly, down to about $510.
Kid Rock is Having a Hard Time Selling “First Class Seats” to His Freedom 250 Tour
If you go to Ticketmaster and scroll down the different venues on the tour route and then click on the first front rows of his shows you will find that most all of the venues on the tour still have at least 4 of the front row tickets still available, while most of the other seats for the show are sold already.

Not All Kid Rock Tickets Will Break the Bank
Tickets on the second level go for between $100 and $200, and a standard general admission ticket in the back costs around $60. Those prices are more normal when compared to other concerts.
Those tickets are getting swept up a lot quicker than the $5,000, $4,000 and $3,000 “First Class Tickets” that Rock is offering.

Man United’s successful summer signings provide hope for the future
LIVERPOOL, England — Manchester United‘s decisive goal against Everton began with a raking pass from Matheus Cunha. It landed at the feet of Bryan Mbeumo, who ran at Michael Keane before laying a square ball across the face of goal.
There, Benjamin Sesko raced ahead of James Tarkowski to side-foot his finish past Jordan Pickford. In terms of the game, it was a goal out of nothing. For the United executives watching on, it was one born out of their transfer strategy last summer.
It was enough to secure a narrow 1-0 win on Monday to move Michael Carrick’s team up to fourth in the Premier League table, ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool in the race to play in the UEFA Champions League.

In the short term, this season has turned into an 11-game shootout to return to Europe’s top table after two years away. That won’t do in the long term for a club of this size. But the fact that United can point to a successful summer, which included Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko, suggests that the recruitment issues that have caused so many problems may — finally — be cured.
“Certainly, the boys who have come in recently are all playing a huge part for us, which is ideal,” said Carrick. “A major part of it is the character and the personality, and that is a major attribute to have, especially playing here.
“It takes a lot of different things to win games. Sometimes it will come a little bit easier and it will click and the goals will flow.
“Other times, like tonight, credit to Everton, it was a bit of a tight game in some ways.
“It wasn’t flowing as much for us, but I think the spirit and the belief and the trust that the lads are gaining between themselves and between all of us, I think is important.”
United’s key task this summer is to find a new manager. But whoever gets the job — whether it’s Carrick permanently or someone else — will find the role immeasurably easier if the right players arrive with him.
Whatever happens between now and May, this will still be a season that falls short of United’s usual standards. Those have been set a long time ago by the trophy-laden tenures of Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson.
But when the dust settles on the campaign, among the few positives will be the contributions of summer signings: Cunha, Mbeumo, Sesko and goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
The young Belgian, signed from Royal Antwerp for less than £20 million, also played his part against Everton. He dealt with the chaos from James Garner‘s corners — particularly during a frantic last 15 minutes — and produced a stunning save from Keane late on. There was another smart low stop from Tyrique George in the third minute of stoppage time to preserve a precious three points.
“The goalie was bloody brilliant for them tonight,” said David Moyes afterward.
United’s recent transfer history is pockmarked with expensive mistakes like Alexis Sánchez, Jadon Sancho and Antony. It has certainly been a long time since they got four signings right in one summer. That money is starting to be spent well bodes well for the future, especially with a big decision to come about who should replace Casemiro.
The Brazilian, pivotal to the revival under Carrick, is leaving at the end of the season. It will again fall on CEO Omar Berrada, director of football Jason Wilcox and director of recruitment Christopher Vivell to pick well and find a central midfielder capable of filling his boots.
“I think it’s difficult for me to talk about the past when I’ve not been here,” said Carrick. “I said it when I first came, sometimes, you know, we’re just expecting players to perform, you know, and sometimes there’s a lot more that goes into it.
“Feeling the environment, being comfortable in your surroundings to be able to perform is important and sometimes it takes a little bit of getting used to.”
Carrick, meanwhile, looks very comfortable. With five wins and a draw from six matches in charge, the 44-year-old has put himself in the conversation to be the next permanent boss. United are the only Premier League side yet to lose in 2026 and no other team has collected more than their 18 points since the turn of the year.
But if he wants to know just how tough it can get at United, he needed only to look down the sideline at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Moyes has proved he’s an accomplished manager with successful spells with Everton and West Ham United, but the Scot lasted just 10 months in the Old Trafford pressure cooker before being sacked. Moyes had his own recruitment problems while at United.
After watching Sesko, Cunha, Mbeumo and Lammens prove to be the difference against Everton, he is well placed to remind Berrada, Wilcox and Vivell that, whoever is in the hot seat, the job is far more manageable when the right players are in the building.
Air ambulance plunges into eastern India forest, killing 7
NEW DELHI — An air ambulance crashed into a dense forest in eastern India, killing all seven people on board, authorities said.
The Beechcraft C90 aircraft operated by Redbird Airways Pvt. Ltd. lost control minutes after taking off from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand state, on Monday, the country’s aviation watchdog said in a statement.
The plane was carrying a critically ill burn patient to New Delhi for advanced medical treatment. He was accompanied by a doctor, a paramedic and two family members. The other two people on board were the pilot and co-pilot.
“All seven persons on board the air ambulance are dead and their bodies sent for postmortem,” senior local official Keerthishree G. told The Associated Press from the accident site Tuesday.
State officials suspect the aircraft lost control after passing through turbulence caused by bad weather.
A team from the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is being dispatched to investigate the cause of the accident, according to a statement from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Local media cited eyewitnesses as saying they heard a loud explosion before seeing smoke rise from a heavily forested area, prompting local authorities to rush to the scene.
Air ambulances are frequently used in India to transport critically ill patients from smaller cities to major medical centers.
The crash adds to concerns over aviation safety during adverse weather conditions, especially in regions with challenging terrain.
It comes weeks after a private plane carrying a senior state official crashed in western India, killing all five people on board.

UNC has momentum after big win over Louisville, optimism for return of Caleb Wilson
North Carolina passed a significant test without star forward Caleb Wilson on Monday night, as the No. 18 Tar Heels toppled No. 24 Louisville 77-74. The win improved the Tar Heels (22-6, 10-5 ACC) to 3-1 since Wilson suffered a fractured hand in a Feb. 10 loss at Miami.
Between the uncertainty around Wilson’s potential return and a subsequent injury to starting center Henri Veesaar, UNC’s trajectory seemed uncertain less than a week ago. Those concerns were laid bare in blowout loss at NC State on Feb. 17.
But Veessar’s return in Saturday’s win at Syracuse, Monday night’s victory over a quality ACC foe and Wilson’s apparent progression have steadied the waters in Chapel Hill. North Carolina hopes to have Wilson back for its regular-season finale against Duke on March 7, ESPN reported during the broadcast of the game .
The Tar Heels are squarely in the hunt for a double-bye at the ACC Tournament and expected to remain a No. 6 seed in CBS Sports Bracketology on Tuesday following their sixth Quad 1 win.
Seth Trimble paced North Carolina with a career-high 30 points as UNC kept Louisville at arm’s length for most of the second half. The Cardinals closed within a possession on two occasions in the final minute, but a pair of Trimble free throws with nine seconds left helped UNC escape.
In his second game back since a two-game absence due to a lower-extremity Veesaar added 12 points for North Carolina. Mikel Brown Jr. paced Louisville (20-8, 9-6) with 24 points for the Cardinals.

Light at the end of the tunnel
Games against Virginia Tech and Clemson still await before Wilson’s expected return. But the light is now at the end of the tunnel, and the Tar Heels are proving they can manage without their leading scorer and rebounder. Wilson, who is a potential top-five pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, averages 19.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.4 blocks.
In his absence, UNC has leaned more on junior forward Jarin Stevenson and Montenegrin import Luka Bogavac. Both carried their weight against Louisville by combining for 21 points on 4 of 9 shooting from 3-point range.
Seth Trimble’s star gear
While having Veesaar back and getting Wilson healthy are pivotal for North Carolina’s aspirations, UNC’s ceiling may ultimately be determined by the sort of guard play it gets in March. Trimble showed he can put UNC on his back, if needed, by turning in the best offensive game of his four-year Tar Heels career.
His steal and breakaway dunk at the 13:38 mark gave North Carolina its biggest lead at 56-40. Trimble outplayed Louisville’s formidable star tandem of Brown and Ryan Conwell, which was an accomplishment considering those two combined for 47 points. Once Wilson is back, less will be required of Trimble offensively. But this game was a reminder of his capabilities and could be a confidence booster for the team’s third-leading scorer.
