Bunnie Xo promised to take fans behind the scenes of her recent facelift procedure. Turns out, she meant that literally: She even brought the cameras into the operating room.
Bunnie’s surgery on Sunday (March 15) was extensive, lasting seven hours.

She showed a couple of different points of view from the procedure: One from her surgeon, Dr. Daniel J Gould, and one from the two best friends who accompanied her into the OR.
If you’ve got a sensitive stomach when it comes to medical stuff, now’s the time to click away.
Two of Bunnie’s closest friends, Meme and Jaime, scrubbed in for her surgery. They documented their experience, and it’s clear from their reactions that the procedure was — well, pretty intense.
“That was crazy,” Jaime says at one point in the clip, looking a little sick as he leaves the OR and comes back out into a hallway.
“They’re just jamming her face…it looks like they’re chipping away at ice,” he adds.
“I started gagging,” Meme agrees.
“It’s the sound of flesh and Morgan Wallen,” Jaime says, referencing the medical team’s playlist for the surgery.
Bunnie was on the table for several hours, so it makes sense that doctors had some music playing while they worked.

Meme shared a few snippets of what songs were playing on Instagram Stories. It seemed like a roundup of hit country songs. We heard Wallen’s “Chasing You,” Luke Combs‘ “Fast Car,” Post Malone and Blake Shelton‘s “Pour Me a Drink” and Jelly Roll‘s “Liar.”
It’s unclear if Bunnie or the doctors chose the music, but Meme does describe it as “the doc’s playlist,” so maybe Dr. Gould is a country fan.
Dr. Gould shared another — more graphic —video recapping Bunnie’s facelift procedure.
He explained Bunnie’s goals for the surgery, saying she “wanted to improve that little bit of heaviness and laxity in the neck, improve slightly the position of the cheek, add a little bit of volume back where she’s lost it before, clean up a little bit of the skin in the upper eyelids and to address the temples and the mid-face.”

“And truly, no one needs a facelift,” Gould stressed in his post. “But when you’re operating on younger patients who already look good, you have to be really thoughtful and careful in order to deliver a result that’s consistent with their anatomy.”
From there, he shared the on-the-table results of Bunnie’s surgery, showing how her facelift tightened up her jawline, eyelids and cheeks. “We’re not trying to make her look like a different person. We’re actually giving her her 20-year-old jawline back,” he noted. He also said he dissolved some of the filler in her lips and switched it out for “nano-fat transfer.”

For those interested in the process, Gould also did a deep dive into the kind of technique he used and how it helps him achieve a natural look that works with Bunnie’s existing anatomy. He ended his video with a photo taken one day after surgery, which shows her “healing nicely” despite some expected bruising and swelling.
Bunnie shared video of the immediate aftermath of her surgery, joking that she looked “like Bert Kreischer” with her puffy, post-surgery face.
Bunnie told fans ahead of time that she planned to get this procedure done, and even dropped her exact surgery date.

NEW YORK – Gotham FC are set to play the Washington Spirit at Citi Field, home of Major League Baseball’s New York Mets, in a summertime matchup that is part of the NWSL’s strategy around the men’s World Cup.
The match will take place on July 15, four days before the World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Gotham’s usual home of Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, N.J., home of MLS’ New York Red Bulls, will be unavailable that week as a potential training site for the World Cup finalists, posing a challenge — and an opportunity — to the NWSL club.
“It was a year in the making, if not more,” Gotham owner and club governor Carolyn Tisch Blodget said. “The genesis was the World Cup. When we started talking [and] knew the men’s World Cup was going to be in our region, then we knew we were going to have the final, we all kept saying this is a moment where we want to be an iconic global brand. We want to be the first-ever women’s sports brand that is known globally. The entire world of soccer is going to be in New York, going to be in this region. What can we do about it? How can we activate? How can we make our presence known? And then the idea came, the idea that we could actually play a game here and we could not just show up at fan fests, which we will do as well, but even show our product to the world of soccer.”
The match at Citi Field will be a landmark moment for the NWSL as it attempts to draw eyeballs during the World Cup. The league will return to play during Fourth of July weekend, while the knockouts of the World Cup are still taking place, and will also host the Challenge Cup in late June at Columbus’ ScottsMiracle-Gro Field.
“I think our approach is to lean into the momentum and ride the wave as opposed to try to counterprogram so we have two really unique moments now — the Challenge Cup, which is in Columbus, Ohio on June 26 and that one is quite intentionally in a market that has no World Cup matches,” NWSL chief operating officer Sarah Jones Simmer said. “We expect that there’s going to be pent up demand for world-class soccer. To be able to bring Gotham vs. Kansas City [Current] there, we think we’ll really meet the needs of the market. Then you’ll see us actually link that programming in some very strategic ways here the week of the men’s World Cup final but again, I think it’s about the groundswell of support and excitement and momentum. It’s not trying to counterprogram. It’s really trying to participate in the momentum in ways we can uniquely bring it to life in the women’s game.”
This is also the latest in a growing list of NWSL fixtures to take place at baseball stadiums and other regional venues. The move is designed to attract larger attendance figures, with several league-wide attendance records set in matchups like this one. The current NWSL attendance record is held by Oracle Park, home of MLB’s San Francisco Giants, for a game between Bay FC and the Spirit last year that welcomed just over 40,000 attendees.
“I think baseball stadiums are often in really iconic, important locations that are accessible to fan bases,” Jones Simmer said. “Think about where Oracle is in the Bay area. Think about where Wrigley Field is in Chicago. They have a smaller footprint than a football stadium. In many cases, football stadiums are more on the outskirts of a metro area and for us, the size of a baseball stadium is an an attractive step up from the size of a lot of our stadiums now. We have a lot of confidence and excitement about filling them and showing what 30,000, 40,000 people feels like to our players and to the fans there experiencing it.”
Gotham hope to use the game, which will be the first women’s sporting event to take place at Citi Field, as a touchpoint to grow women’s soccer despite the focus on the men’s game this summer.
“We have the opportunity to now have the foresight to think about how we want to leave things after things after this World Cup,” Gotham general manager Yael Averbuch West said. “What’s really important is that we have these marquee events and Americans love marquee events — the World Cup, the Olympics — but we have that excitement all the time. We have the highest caliber in the game playing week in and week out, some of the best players in the world at what they do, World Cup champions play here at our club and people need to know about that and continue to follow it past this moment.”
This will not be the first time Gotham play inside the city limits of New York — they played at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island for a Concacaf W Champions Cup match last August — but it will be the first NWSL match in the city, but not the last. Gotham will return to Icahn Stadium on July 18 for a league match against the Seattle Reign, allowing the team to build on their fooprint. Tisch Blodget said the team currently has just 2% awarness in the region and hopes a game at Citi Field will raise Gotham’s profile in the area.
“The idea that we can introduce 40,000 people to Gotham here is a different scale than we have at Icahn but yes, we know that accessibility to the stadium, getting to games is difficult,” she said. “We have fans that raise their hands and say they’re interested in Gotham and then they can’t get there or they can only get there once or whatever reason so being able to have these really accessible moments for our teams, particularly the one-two punch, is really important to us.
“We’ve always been the New York/New Jersey team — our players live in Jersey, our staff lives in Jersey, we play in New Jersey. As much as we’ve always been New York/New Jersey, we’ve only really delivered on the New Jersey part of it.”
WASHINGTON — Senate Republicans voted Tuesday to bring up the SAVE America Act to overhaul election laws nationwide, kicking off what’s expected to be a highly contentious debate on the floor.
The vote was 51-48, with Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, joining unified Democrats in opposition. Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., didn’t vote.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., has promised “an extended debate” on the legislation, which President Donald Trump has labeled his “No. 1 priority.” But it doesn’t have a viable path to pass in the Senate.
The legislation would require Americans to show proof of citizenship — passports or birth certificates — in person to register to vote. It would require voters to show photo identification to cast ballots, including by mail. And it would empower the Department of Homeland Security to flag suspected noncitizens to states for disqualification from voter rolls.
Because the House sent it as a “message,” the Senate could begin debate with a simple-majority vote. The debate could continue for days, into the night and potentially through the weekend, according to a Republican leadership aide.
But the bill remains subject to a 60-vote threshold to end debate and move to pass it, and Democrats have made it clear they’ll block it. Thune has said Republicans don’t have the votes to sustain a “talking filibuster” or to trigger the “nuclear option” to change Senate rules and get rid of the 60-vote hurdle.
“It’s a naked attempt to rig our elections,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., told reporters. “We’re ready to be here all day, all night, as long as it takes to ensure the powers of voter suppression do not win the day.”
“Senate Democrats will never let this rotten bill move through this body,” Schumer said before the vote.
Republican leaders have focused on the most popular provision in the bill: the requirement to show photo ID to vote.
“Pretty much everything you do in your daily life involves showing an ID — whether it’s opening a bank account, getting a hotel room, picking up prescription drugs,” Thune told reporters. “You need a card, in many cases, just to get into a library. I mean, these are things that are just basic, fundamental aspects of our everyday life. We certainly ought to be able to apply them to something as important as voting in this country.”
Asked whether he’d be open to negotiating a slimmed-down photo ID bill with Republicans, Schumer replied: “Look, I’m not going to speculate on details. You know what our objection is — our objection, as Democrats, is not to a photo ID. You’d have to define it clearly and properly and easily, but not to a photo ID when you show up to vote. Our objection is it’s a voter suppression bill.”
Trump has called for some revisions to the House-passed version of the bill, which the Senate is now debating, including largely banning voting by mail and adding unrelated prohibitions on transgender athletes and gender-affirming surgery for minors.
Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., announced Tuesday he would introduce amendments to align the bill with Trump’s preferences. But those amendments would require 60 votes to advance, leaving them — and the rest of the bill — without a plausible endgame.
Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., kicked off floor debate Tuesday by criticizing the Democratic resistance.
“No one on the other side will join us,” he said.
Hours before the Senate opened debate, Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, the Senate sponsor of the SAVE America Act, floated primary challengers to Republicans who oppose pursuing a “talking filibuster” to try to push past Democratic opposition.
“If your senators don’t support using the talking filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act, you might need to replace them,” Lee said on X.
Asked by NBC News to respond to Lee, Thune warned that such tactics could jeopardize the Republican majority.
“I prefer to have our fights with Democrats,” Thune said, arguing that members of the GOP conference should be able to disagree on some things given the circumstances of their states. “We may not agree on everything, but I’m way more in favor of ensuring that we have Republicans holding these seats in the United States Senate than handing them to Democrats.”

What happens when a horror story about cursed vinyl records is turned into an actual vinyl record? That’s the eerie premise behind Old Records, a new audio drama adaptation of a story by Junji Ito pressed onto actual vinyl.
The project transforms Ito‘s unsettling tale into an immersive listening experience, blurring the line between fiction and reality. The concept comes directly from the source material: a story about mysterious records with a dark history, now brought to life as an actual piece of vinyl that listeners can spin themselves.
Junji Ito is widely regarded as one of the most influential horror manga creators of all time. Since debuting in 1987, his work – including Tomie, Uzumaki, and Gyo – has defined modern Japanese horror with its surreal, deeply unsettling imagery.
The four-time Eisner Award winner and 2025 Eisner Hall of Fame inductee worked directly with the creative team to adapt “Old Records” into an audio format, ensuring the project maintains the eerie spirit of the original story.
The English-language version of the audio drama is narrated by Poppy. Known for her genre-defying career, the two-time Grammy-nominated artist has spent the past decade weaving together elements of pop, industrial, and metal. Her album I Disagree made history when she became the first solo female artist nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.
The Japanese-language narration is performed by Shoko Nakagawa – widely known in Japan as “Shokotan.” A beloved figure in anime and pop culture, Nakagawa has contributed to major franchises like Pokémon and Dragon Ball and performed the opening theme for Gurren Lagann.
The vinyl’s visual design was created by Acky Bright, a Japanese illustrator known for his bold black-and-white style and collaborations with companies including DC Comics, Marvel, Netflix, BMW, and McDonald’s.
Bright designed the record jacket and packaging for the release – which features one particularly macabre detail: Junji Ito‘s actual bloody handprint incorporated into the artwork.
The story itself was adapted into audio form by Ryan Cady, a writer known for work with Marvel Comics and DC Comics, including titles such as The Punisher, Venom, Green Lantern, and Batman: Urban Legends. Cady has also collaborated with musicians including Poppy and Machine Gun Kelly on graphic novel projects, making him a natural fit for bringing Ito’s work into the audio medium.
