Date:

The Albuquerque Police Department has arrested a woman after crashing into a patrol unit. Around 10:20 p.m. on May 2, Susan Gray, 57, was driving a black Honda Pilot and crashed into a parked patrol vehicle. Officers say Gray appeared to be extremely unbalanced and stumbling. She told them she had been leaving her residence and going to the gas station to get snacks. While attempting to make a left-hand turn at the Speedway Gas Station by Aspen and Rio Grande, Gray failed to yield to oncoming traffic and T-boned into a fully marked unit. Officers questioned Gray, who advised them she had taken her anti-depressant medications. Gray was given a blood test, which came back positive. She was found to be under the influence and not able to operate a vehicle safely. She is now facing a DWI charge and was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center.
