After a breakout year that saw them ignite some of Europe’s most revered heavy music stages, Witch Club Satan are crossing the Atlantic for the first time. The Norwegian black metal provocateurs have announced their inaugural North American headline tour, ominously titled Founding of the North American Coven.
Running May 27 through June 16, the tour spans 16 dates across the U.S. and Canada, and represents not just a first visit, but a ceremonial expansion of the band’s rapidly growing global coven. Support across the run will come from Penelope Trappes and Patriarchy. Get your tickets here.
Tickets go on general sale Friday, January 30 at 10am local time. “We feel like it’s the right time to head overseas and provide some much needed witchcraft,” the band explain.
“Through social media, we have been invited by countless fans, asking us to come to the United States. Being welcomed is a big deal to us — and our main reason to travel is to give an invitation in return. In times of division and chaos, we hope to offer a shelter and community within our coven. We are preparing for a powerful ritual.”
