On Monday morning, a black bear was spotted in Fort Marcy Park.
Officials say the bear was found in a tree near where kids and people were.
Video shows the bear just casually hanging out in a tree at the park on Monday morning.
Officers and Animal Services officers were sent to monitor the scene. The bear is still in the tree and being monitored as of Monday afternoon. They say the bear is too high up to be tranquilized.
Officials also say NM Wildlife has been notified of the incident.
