One young Morgan Wallen fan got the concert experience of a lifetime on Friday night (Aug. 1), without even going to the show.
During Night One of Wallen’s I’m the Problem Tour weekend in Santa Clara, Calif., he grabbed a fan’s phone in the middle of the show — and hopped on an impromptu FaceTime with her 10-year-old son, who was at home.
Wallen was between songs when the moment happened.
In video shared to TikTok, you can see the singer locking eyes with a fan in the crowd — then running over, gesturing for them to hand over the phone.
The moment was brief, but you can see Wallen mouthing the words “What’s up, buddy?” and cracking a smile in response.
After saying hi, Wallen handed the phone back and then sprinted away to keep the show moving.
But he left the young fan with a souvenir.
In a follow-up TikTok post by the concertgoer whose son FaceTimed Wallen, you can see a screenshot of the moment the young boy realized that the superstar was on the other end of the phone.
It’s not clear whether the young fan snapped the screenshot or if Wallen did so in the middle of their brief chat.
But either way, it’s a priceless memory for this family, and the look of surprise and joy on the boy’s face is even more heartwarming than the original video.
Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem Tour Continues
Wallen’s two-night stop in Santa Clara, Calif. included a star-studded walkout with cameos from former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Steve Young and Major League Baseball star Barry Bonds.
The singer shared a video recap of the walkout on social media, captioning it, “Couple big hitters from the bay.”
Wallen has continued his trend of all-star walkouts during many of the stops on his I’m the Problem Tour.
Wallen’s 2025 tour has been going on since mid-June, and it’s scheduled to run into September. Opening acts on the tour include Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock and more.
