Warrant issued for man accused of vandalizing trees in downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An arrest warrant has been issued for the man accused of damaging trees in downtown Albuquerque. There was video of a man using his weight to snap the limbs along Central Ave. last week. Days later, an officer spotted a man matching the vandal’s description, identified as 35-year-old Dustin French.

He is facing a charge of criminal damage to property. According to a criminal complaint, 21 trees were damaged. The cost of replacing them is more than $10,000.
