UFC 331: Live results and analysis for Van vs. Pantoja 2

Date:

The men’s flyweight division takes center stage Saturday night. Former champion Alexandre Pantoja returns from a nine-month layoff to challenge champion Joshua Van in a main event rematch at UFC 331 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The main card begins at 9 p.m. ET.

Pantoja, ESPN’s No. 8-ranked pound-for-pound fighter, suffered a dislocated elbow in the opening seconds of his first fight against Van at UFC 323 in December, giving Van the TKO win and the men’s flyweight title. While Pantoja recovered from injury, Van defended the belt against Tatsuro Taira, earning a fifth-round knockout at UFC 328 in May.

Top-10 lightweights Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy meet in the co-main event. Tsarukyan hasn’t been in the Octagon since November 2025, but don’t expect him to be rusty. One of the promotion’s best grapplers has stayed sharp in competitive wrestling matches with RAF and has become a fan favorite on social media. Ruffy, meanwhile, has made a career out of knocking opponents out. Thirteen of his 14 career wins have come via KO, including his two 2026 fights against Rafael Fiziev and Michael Chandler.

Brett Okamoto, Jeff Wagenheim and Dre Waters break down all the action from Los Angeles.
