Tim Curry, ‘Rocky Horror’ star, dies at 80, per reports

Tim Curry, the actor best known for playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” has died at 80, according to media reports.

Curry is also widely known for his roles as Wadsworth in the 1985 classic “Clue” and as Pennywise in the 1990 adaptation of “It.”

The British actor and singer dealt with health issues for years, including a major stroke in 2012.

Curry’s first professional success was in the London production of “Hair.”
