Target recalls certain ‘Up & Up’ baby wipes

Target is recalling specific types of its “Up & Up” brand of baby wipes following customer complaints of skin irritation and product discoloration.According to a recall announcement on the Food and Drug Administration’s website, testing revealed the presence of two different types of bacteria in product samples of the fragrance free and cucumber scented wipes.These bacteria, while only resulting in local infections in healthy adults who are exposed to them through skin with lesions, pose a major risk to immunocompromised people and children.
