SFPD deals with third burglary arrest over a two-day period

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Sunday morning, Santa Fe police arrested 34-year-old Marcus Gonzales. They say a witness told police the front door to the Market Street Grocery Store was shattered around 4:00 a.m.

When police reviewed surveillance footage, they saw Gonzales break down the doors and leave with alcohol, and one hour later, he came back and stole even more alcohol. At 7:00 a.m., police arrested him at a Burger King nearby.

SFPD says when they arrested Gonzales, they found over $700 worth of alcohol in his backpack. This burglary comes after Saturday morning, when SFPD officers arrested 48-year-old Monica Diaz inside a locked Speedway and 43-year-old Isaac Vigil breaking into an apartment complex.
