OFFICIALS WANT HIKERS TO KEEP THIS IN MIND BEFORE THEY HEAD OUT. PEOPLE THINK IT’S NICE AND WARM AND SUNNY WHEN THEY START OUT DOWN IN THE BASE OF ALBUQUERQUE, AND THEN THEY HEAD UP THE MOUNTAIN AND THEY ENCOUNTER THE SNOW AND THE ICE. TONIGHT WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT STORY BECAUSE IT’S BEEN SNOWING ALL DAY, AND IT’S A LITTLE SURPRISING TO SEE PEOPLE GETTING STUCK IN THE SNOW WHEN THEY KNEW THAT THERE WAS SNOW UP THERE.
