A homicide investigation is ongoing after a suspect was arrested in Santa Fe.Police first responded to Calle La Resolana, where a man was found dead in the back of a residence. Witnesses said a man who was covered in blood was seen leaving the area in a maroon vehicle.A dispatch call was later received reporting a reckless driver with a vehicle description matching the previous one. Santa Fe police found the vehicle and initiated a high-risk stop.This led to the driver, Robert Valdez, 66, of Santa Fe, being transported to SFPD to be interviewed by detectives. He was later charged with an open count of murder. Valdez was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
