Samael is back, baby! Eight long years after the release of their latest full-length album Hegemony in 2017, Samael is now streaming their commanding new single “Black Matter Manifesto”. It’s short, it’s crunchy, and it’s got way more black metal than it does industrial. I’m into it.
“Opposites in life have long been a recurring theme in the band’s lyrics, which finally find resolution in the song ‘Black Matter Manifesto,'” said Samael‘s Vorph. “The quest for harmony ends where darkness reigns.”
“Black Matter Manifesto” was mixed by Sky van Hoff (Lindemann, Sleep Token). While we all wait for a new Samael record, you can catch ’em at a handful of dates below.
