Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson Huff says her youngest daughter, Kit, has suffered a second choking incident.
In fact, the family has learned that “something underlying” is affecting the nine-month-old baby’s ability to effectively swallow food. Sadie shared that news in a social media update, explaining that they’ve spent the past month getting to the bottom of the problem.

That post includes a video of Kit resting in the hospital as Saide sings a song called “Always On Time,” which worship collective Elevation Worship released in 2024.
What’s Wrong With Duck Dynasty Star Sadie Robertson’s Daughter Kit?
Sadie didn’t share Kit’s exact diagnosis, though she did imply that she’ll get into more of the details on a forthcoming podcast episode.
Instead, she reflected on the family’s journey with Kit’s health issues over the past month, which began after the baby choked at home in April.
“A month since Kit choked, and what we thought was a one-time event, happened again shortly after…and that was the beginning of discovering something underlying,” Sadie writes.
She also said that Kit is on the mend, and that doctors were able to identify and address the issue.
“Praise the Lord that, for such a scary and life-threatening event we had, it was a relatively small fix because of the incredible doctors, and she is healing now,” Sadie continued. “God really does establish STRENGTH in the mouths of infants.”
“This past month has marked us in a way that will take a while to unpack…We’ve seen things that brought a lot of a trauma, and also seen miracles on miracles that I’ll tell stories about forever!” she added.

Sadie said she chose to share this clip because of all the times she sung “Always On Time” to Kit during her medical ordeal.
“The words to this song couldn’t testify more to this month. I sang them over and over, and recorded them one day in the hospital to look back on!” she explained.

Kit Carroway is the youngest of three daughters that Sadie Robertson Huff shares with her husband, Christian Huff. She was born in August 2025.
