A reality TV star, known for her appearances on “Real World” and “The Challenge,” has died at the age of 34.

Anika Rashaun, according to her friend Tiara Ramos, died after being diagnosed with breast cancer.

“Her diagnosis was a shock. Despite her mother having breast cancer years earlier, she was never identified as high-risk or told by her doctors to prioritize mammograms. That was one of the many failures she experienced within the medical system during her time battling cancer. But that is a story for another day,” Ramos said.

She continued, saying, “Anika Rashaun Walker Rehn was part of my life longer than she wasn’t. She was my mirror: the good, the bad, the ugly, the really ugly. She wasn’t just my friend. She was my other half. If you knew me, you knew her.”

According to People Magazine, Anika was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in July 2025 after months of unexplained back pain.

Rashaun was known for her appearance on MTV’s “The Real World Seattle: Bad Blood” in 2016. The following year, she returned to take part in “The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions.”

According to her Instagram, the reality star was a dating coach and matchmaker.

Theo King-Bradley, who appeared in both of Rashaun’s seasons on “Real World” and “The Challenge,” posted a tribute on Instagram.

“I’m sad I didn’t get to see you one last time. But the last time and conversation we had with each other, I can cherish and play it back in my mind to smile,” he said.

Ramos, who said she was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer six weeks after Rashaun, said she is continuing treatment and is still processing the loss of her best friend.

“The theme of our friendship was always, I got you,” Ramos said about Rashaun.

She continued, saying, “I spent more than 20 years of my life with Anika. She was always so unapologetically herself, so real in her stances, her convictions, her beliefs. Her ability to get what she wanted, to talk you into things, to convince you, was one of a kind. The way she showed up for her friends, fiercely loyal and loving to the end, was on a whole different level. Every core memory in my life is linked to her.”
