Three and a half million redacted pages of the Epstein files have been released by the U.S. Department of Justice in the past year, but millions more remain unreleased, including names, documents, pictures and survivors not yet identified. New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torrez spoke on national television this week, saying unredacted files need to be released to state prosecutors. Torrez said the federal government is preventing his office from pursuing leads into potential criminal activity at Zorro Ranch. Rep. Andrea Romero, who chairs New Mexico’s Epstein Truth Commission, is also investigating crimes at Zorro Ranch. “Their request is the same as ours, so we are duplicative in that request. The reality, though, as we know, is that they have yet to even release redacted files that we’ve requested,” Romero said. Torrez emphasized the importance of the unreleased files in prosecuting individuals who helped Epstein and those who may have engaged in criminal behavior at Zorro Ranch. “What’s in there? What, what, what are we not? Why? Why are you doing this? Why? Why can’t we know what’s in those files? It’s, you know, the critical person in those files, Jeffrey Epstein, is dead,” Torrez said.
