The game’s grand prize rose to an estimated $748 million, with a cash value of $325.1 million, after no tickets won jackpot in Saturday’s drawing.
Powerball officials on Monday said that if no one wins the big prize in the Monday, Aug. 3 drawing, the jackpot will continue to grow and become “one of the top ten largest jackpots in game history.”
Monday’s jackpot is the 40th drawing in the current jackpot run. It is the largest Powerball jackpot since a $1.817 billion prize won in Arkansas on Christmas Eve 2025, which remains the second-largest jackpot ever won in the game, officials said in a release on Monday.
Powerball tickets cost $2. They are sold in 45 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom.
