Austin Lunn‘s Panopticon has built a reputation for prolific output, dropping two albums last year and preparing another new one called Det Hjemsøkte Hjertet for a May 8 release via Bindrune Recordings. While his studio work is plentiful, East Coast live appearances are few and far between.
Even rarer are opportunities to see metalcore pioneers Catharsis, who reunited last year to release Hope Against Hope, their first album in 26 years. This fall, fans get a unique chance to experience both acts on the same stage.
It’s a short one, but the tour kicks off on October 8 at Middle East Upstairs in Boston, MA and wraps up on October 11 at Ottobar in Baltimore, MD. Get your tickets here.

And for those out of the know – Panopticon released Laurentian Blue, which is an album purely of dark folk material that’s meant to be a companion to …And Again Into the Light; and Songs Of Hiraeth, which is comprised of songs that were forgotten and lost in the shuffle during the On The Subject Of Mortality era, in 2025. Both are great.
