It’s been a rough few days for the metal community after it was announced that the Prince of Darkness had passed away on the 22nd of July.
Tributes have been pouring out in tenfold, with bands covering Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne songs as well as friends, family, and longtime colleagues heartfelt tributes to the lead singer.
As my aunt always says, “If you don’t laugh about it, you’ll cry about it,” and it feels appropriate to say that in true Ozzy fashion, we can imagine he would want us to reminisce fondly, and maybe even have a chuckle or two.
Because Ozzy did give us a fair few chuckles during the time the Osbournes‘ reality TV show was being filmed from 2002 to 2005, from both relatability and just sheer outrageousness.
