Overnight crash kills one person in northeast Albuquerque
A second victim was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
One person is dead, and a second person is in critical condition after a vehicle crash Saturday in northeast Albuquerque.
According to an Albuquerque Police spokesperson, the incident occurred near Juan Tabo Boulevard NE and Eubank Boulevard NE around 11:20 p.m. Saturday.
Police say a black Audi was traveling west on Juan Tabo Blvd. and attempted to make a left turn onto Eubank Blvd., when it collided with a Hyundai traveling northbound.
The driver of the Audi was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Police continue to investigate what caused the crash.
