Date:

VALENCIA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Valencia County Animal Shelter is over capacity, and they’re asking for the public’s help before it’s too late for the dogs in their care. Shelter staff say the shelter is completely full again, and just a couple of days ago, over 10 dogs were taken in before doors opened to the public.

They say that with only two dog adoptions and no room, they are doing everything they can to avoid euthanizing animals. Adoptions are free for the remainder of the week.
