ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico State Police say a suspect is in custody after a shooting involving multiple departments. Police say the shooting happened on 6th St. in Roswell.
NMSP says a Roswell police officer and a Chavez County Sheriff’s Office deputy were injured in the shooting. Police say the suspect was taken into custody and there is currently no threat to the public. No other details have been released. This is a developing story.
