NMDOH: Heat-related emergency room visits reach record numbers

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Health said more people are going to the hospital for heat-related illness this summer. The NMDOH said that since April, there’s been more than 900 heat-related emergency room visits around the state, the highest number they’ve ever recorded.
