One of New Mexico’s best girls’ basketball player in recent years is headed to Texas Christian University and the Big 12 Conference .Bella Hines’ transfer to TCU comes after her freshman season at Lousiana State University, where she played in 33 games, averaging 4.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game, while shooting 45 percent from the field and better than 37 percent from thre-point range.An Albuquerque native, Hines went to LSU as one of the top freshman in the country.
