My Chemical Romance have had their comeback moment, and may have even seen a wee dip in their popularity due to the fact that their US tour was so unbelievably expensive and priced a lot of fans out of seeing them – however, it seems like they’re not just banking on being a legacy act, possibly hinting at new music due to a teaser posted to the band’s socials.
Yesterday, a small, electric style video with the text, ‘Phantom,’ was uploaded to the Instagram of My Chemical Romance, tagging bassist Mikey Way and rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, in the short clip, with the Instagram caption itself stylised in all capitals, “A game you will play.” You can check out the clip below.
As Rock Sound points out, this teaser was uploaded to socials ahead of My Chemical Romance‘s first show of the year in Lima, in which they also included a little snippet of the graphics during the show. You can check out that video below.
