More impact rain & storms with isolated flooding ahead of a great weekend.
Flooding threats continue today then turning drier and warmer this weekend.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Happy Friday some lingering showers out there this morning then a brief lull ahead of more monsoon storms later in the afternoon and evening. Threats of heavy rainfall and localized flooding continue through Saturday morning. If flooding threatens, get to higher ground immediately. Always avoid arroyos, ditches, and water-covered roads. Good news is drier air will seep into the state over the weekend, cutting down rain chances, especially on Sunday for the last weekend of the New Mexico State Fair. Temperatures will warm near average for this time of year.
