NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – It has been mostly dry across almost all of New Mexico today, with the exception of a few spotty afternoon storms. This will be the same story on Sunday, but with a couple more storms in southern and southeastern parts of the state.
Forecast Continues Below
A surge of monsoon moisture will move back into New Mexico early next week. This will increase rain chances into the middle of next week. Most of New Mexico will see rain chances return, except for east-central and southeast New Mexico, where high pressure will keep things drier. Temperatures will also cool off for most with the increase in moisture and rain. The rain will also bring back a threat of flash flooding by the middle of next week.
