NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Middle Mesa Fire began burning on August 1, 2025, in the Carson National Forest, east of Navajo Lake and southeast of Arboles, Colorado. Officials say there are currently no threats to homes or evacuations in place. Fire managers are coordinating with oil and gas companies that have infrastructure in the area.
