Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean have been friends since around 2010.
Not only that, but they’re also duet partners on Aldean’s new Songs About Us album’s title track, and, they just announced a co-headlining stadium tour together.

Before those shows, the two might be spotted together on a local golf course working on their golf game. According to Bryan, well, Aldean needs the practice!
Bryan and Aldean were part of a dual interview I did on Taste of Country Nights and when I asked Bryan what Aldean’s fans need to know about him that they might not already know, he took the opportunity to roast his good pal.

Luke Bryan Roasts Jason Aldean’s Golf Skills
“His fans need to know that I’m working on his golf grip,” Bryan says with a twinkle in his eye. “He’s got a baseball grip for his golf game — he doesn’t interlock, overlap… nothing. I can’t witness it anymore so I’m gonna start working on that.”
Aldean has told me over the past few years that he has been working on his golf game, even spending time at Kane Brown‘s house and using his golf simulator.
According to Bryan, the simulator must not help with the actual gripping of the golf club.

Aug. 1 — Missoula, Mont. @ Washington-Grizzly Stadium
Aug. 16 — San Diego, Calif. @ Petco Park
Aug. 20 — Washington DC @ Nationals Park
Dec. 11 — Las Vegas, Nev. @ Allegiant Stadium
On June 26, Bryan will join Jordan Davis, LoCash and more for the 25th annual Taste of Country concert in Buffalo, N.Y.
- Gavin Adcock, Jon Pardi, Dylan Scott, Dasha, Chase Matthew and Lauren Watkins will open select shows on the Double Down Tour 2026.
- Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 8.
- A set list from the April 25 concert shows that the two men shared the stage for much of the night and performed songs from both catalogs, plus covers.
