ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The UNM men’s basketball team is currently building its schedule for the 2025-2026 season. On Friday, the team announced its season opener at the Pit.
The Eric Olen era will officially begin on Wednesday, November 5 against East Texas A&M. This will be the fourth-ever meeting between the two schools and first since 1981-1982 when ETAMU was East Texas State.
The other other regular season games for UNM that have been announced are two games to be played in the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City, MO. during Thanksgiving weekend. UNM will play Nebraska followed by either Kansas State or Mississippi State.
