The 2026 ACM Awards marks Urban’s first major country music awards show since his very high profile split from Nicole Kidman in the fall of 2025. The couple were married for 19 years and share two daughters.

They also walked the red carpet at the ACMs multiple times over the years, most recently in May 2025.
Urban is not a nominee at the 2026 ACM Awards, nor is he expected to perform during the awards show. However, he did headline the ACM Next Wave: Country’s Beach Bash on Saturday night (May 16), the day before the big show.
