- Musgraves opened her Middle of Nowhere Tour on Friday (Aug. 21) at the United Center in Chicago.
- The 21-song setlist (see below) included 11 of the 13 songs from her new, Middle of Nowhere album.
- The tour includes U.S. dates through October.

Fans may be surprised by how few catalog songs Musgraves added to her set list. Over half the show featured new songs or the cover she added to the bonus version of her new album.
Notably missing are hits like “The Architect,” and songs like “Rainbow,” “Lonely Weekend” and “High Time,” which (per SetList.fm) have been among her Top 10 most played songs.
Midland opened a show that helped celebrate Musgraves’ 38th birthday. Her next show comes Monday in Toronto. Then she heads to the east coast for a week’s worth of concerts.
