Legendary Norwegian black metal force Gorgoroth has revealed that a new live album is officially in the works, captured during their March 2025 European tour celebrating the band’s monumental 33rd anniversary. The recordings, made throughout the tour in collaboration with Massive Music, aim to deliver the raw, uncompromising atmosphere of Gorgoroth‘s revered live performances.
Currently, founding guitarist Infernus is spearheading the mixing process alongside Øystein G. Brun (known for his work with Borknagar) at Crosound Studio, ensuring the production stays true to the band’s dark and visceral sonic legacy.

“During our European tour, celebrating our 33rd anniversary, with Massive Music, we recorded some shows. Infernus is now working on the mixing together with Øystein G. Brun at Crosound Studio. The album will be released under license on all physical formats through Soulseller Records. More info to follow.”
Brun added: “Currently working with my good old friend Infernus, mixing the upcoming live album of Gorgoroth. The material was recorded during their European tour in March 2025, organized Massive Music, celebrating their 33rd anniversary. Recordings where eminently conducted by Oscar Carre, also known for FOH work for Rotting Christ, Borknagar and many more. The live album will be released under license, on all physical formats, through Soulseller Records.”
