Glass recycling now offered twice a month at Palo Duro Senior Center

Date:

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque is making it easier for residents to recycle glass. Albuquerque’s Solid Waste Management Department is launching a new drop-off location at the Palo Duro Senior Center.

Officials said the new site will offer an eco-friendly way for residents to discard glass, so it does not end up in a landfill. Unlike plastic, glass can be 100% recycled. Starting this Sunday, residents can bring clean glass recyclables on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
