
SANTA FE COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe County is giving the community a chance to dispose of their green waste for free on select upcoming days. On August 1 – 2 and September 5 – 6, 2025, community members with a valid Santa Fe County Solid Waste Permit can drop off their green waste free of charge.

Residents can dispose of their green waste at the Stanley, Jacona and Eldorado Convenience Centers. According to a release from the county, green waste includes yard trimmings, branches, leaves, brush and untreated wood debris.
Santa Fe County is also holding its annual Toss No Mas free solid waste disposal day on September 20. Residents can dispose of their solid waste at any county convenience centers, including Eldorado, Jacona, La Cienega, Nambé, San Marcos, Tesuque, and Stanley. The county says all standard solid waste disposal rules apply to the day.
