Fire in northeast Albuquerque leaves 1 person dead

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue reported that a house fire in northeast Albuquerque left one person dead. The fire was reported on McKnight Ave. NE near Indian School Rd. and Moon St. just before 3 p.m. The fire was under control within 15 minutes.

One person died. Their identity has not been released. No firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
