
The FBI is analyzing recently recovered DNA from Nancy Guthrie’s Arizona home, according to reports. Guthrie, 84, is the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie. She was abducted on Feb. 1.The FBI is reportedly using new, advanced technology to analyze the sample, which was sent to the FBI in recent days from a Florida lab, ABC News reported.This is not the first DNA sample recovered from Guthrie’s home, according to investigators.In a post Thursday on X, formerly known as Twitter, the sheriff’s office said, “PCSD has worked with the FBI since the beginning of the Guthrie investigation. This is not new information. The private lab we utilize in Florida continues to share information with the FBI lab & other partner labs across the country. The sources said a private lab that has been working with investigators from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department passed the DNA sample along to the FBI, according to ABC News.
Guthrie, 84, is the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie. She was abducted on Feb. 1.
