FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) – Farmington police are currently investigating a double homicide that happened early Sunday morning. They were dispatched to a shooting near the intersection of East Murray Drive and Camina Entrada around 1:54 a.m.
Officers located three people with gunshot wounds. Police say all three were transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center, where two of the victims later died.
They say a preliminary investigation uncovered that the three people knew each other, and it was not a random shooting. News 13 will provide updates as they become available.
