Date:

A woman was left devastated after an urn containing her father’s ashes was stolen during a trip to New Mexico. Tammy Blevins was on a trip from California to Colorado to bury her father next to her mother when she discovered his ashes had been stolen out of her car in Albuquerque. Tammy says her father, Charles Landrum, was a Veteran, and they had family flying in to help bury him. The urn was shaped like a cowboy boot. When she discovered his ashes were stolen, the first thing that ran through her mind was disbelief and heartbreak. “Never in a million years would I think they would take that.”She says they also took a tote that had his military memorabilia in it along with his scrapbooks and his medals and daggers he got during deployment.
