Event showcasing local fiber artists happening in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A three-day event celebrating the wide network of fiber artists in Albuquerque is taking place. The event, hosted at Fusion, has free fiber workshops, performances, and a ticketed fashion show on Saturday. Thursday and Friday kick off the event with free open house galleries and band performances from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Saturday will have free workshops from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., including crocheting, felting, block printing, and more. The fashion show is from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday night showcasing more than five local designers as well as performances by more artists.
