Evacuations have been ordered for Nara Visa in Quay County due to a wildfire. Quay County Emergency Management says the fire has now crossed over into Texas. According to a Facebook post by the Texas Department of Transportation US 54 is closed from RM 3296 to the New Mexico state line due to an area fire. Officials say Logan Community Center is open as an evacuation center. They say to please avoid this area if possible. The acreage of the fire is currently unknown.
