Mark your calendars in New Mexico. We have *** total lunar eclipse that won’t happen again for more than 3 years, and it’s happening on Tuesday, March 3rd, right here in New Mexico. You’ll want to check it out. Weather permitting, you’ll be able to see it, and I’m hoping the weather is going to be favorable. Right now, it does look good. Updates, but what I can tell you is that that lunar eclipse will peak at 4:33 in the morning on Tuesday, March 3rd, so very early in the morning. You have to be up early. It begins at 4:04 and it ends at 5:02, and it won’t happen again until June of 2029. So something that you want to check out. You don’t want to miss it. Let’s talk about what an eclipse is. *** lunar eclipse is when the Earth passes between the sun and the moon, and the Earth’s shadow is cast on the moon, creating that eclipse of the moon. So if you want to watch the whole thing, it begins after midnight and continues until the moon sets just after 6:30 in the morning.
