Domestic disturbance in Glendale leads to shooting

The man had life-threatening injuries and the suspect left the scene, police said.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A man has life-threatening injuries after being shot in Glendale, according to officials with the Glendale Police Department. 

Officers were called to a home near 67th and Northern avenues just before 4 p.m. for reports of a domestic disturbance. Officers found the man with a gunshot wound when they arrived and rushed him to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The suspect and victim know each other, police said, and the suspect left the scene before police arrived. 

Detectives are responding to the scene to take over the investigation.
